If you use a lot of Abranet mesh abrasives, these sanding pad protectors will help to prevent premature wear of your sanding pad, and ensure proper adhesion over time. Continuous and aggressive sanding with Abranet can be hard on sanding pads since dust and debris can migrate freely through the abrasive discs. To remedy this, the protector is positioned between the backing pad and the sanding disc to provide cushioning and protection.
