With just a 1/4 turn of the Versaturn Coupler, you can transform your Comet II Midi Lathe into a variety of tools, including a precision bench grinder. The coupler lets you easily remove and attach any Versaturn Accessory (sold separately)- just insert the end into the coupler and rotate the sturdy locking mechanism to lock the accessory securely in place.


Features:

  • For use with the Nova Comet II Midi Lathe (#46457, sold separately)
  • Use the Versaturn Grinding Wheel (#47394, sold separately) with the Versaturn Coupler to turn your lathe into an all-purpose sharpening station
  • Using appropriate accessories, you can also turn your Comet II Midi Lathe into a wire brush, sanding disc, belt sander or whetstone

Can the handwheel be present and functional while the coupler is in place? (assuming no attachment is in use at that time). Or does the coupler need to be removed (4 screws, etc) to again use the handwheel?
