Pau Rosa is a heavy African hardwood with a color ranging from burgundy red to bright orange, often with a stunning spectrum of colors that tend to darken with age. Very dense, with a fine to medium texture, it turns and polishes beautifully. It is available here cut to 1-1/2'' square by 3'' long for short spindle turnings such as bottle stoppers.
