Paua Abalone Inlay Strips, 3-Pack, Lightning (Yellow)

A rich spectrum of luminous colors and shimmering, opalescent flashes make these self-adhesive Paua Abalone/MOP strips a popular choice for any inlay project. They're perfectly dimensioned for use with our 8mm wide Ring Core Blanks (e.g. #63393, sold separately), which have a 4mm channel. Simply cut to length with a scissors, peel off the backing to expose the adhesive, lay it into a groove or channel, then coat with resin or CA glue to seal. All except for Ibis are made from real Paua Abalone shells, found only in the pure coastal waters of New Zealand. Ibis is made from Mother of Pearl (MOP). Colors other than Natural and Ibis should be fully encapsulated to avoid sanding through the color.

Notes: Paua abalone and Mother of Pearl are natural materials. Variations in color and minor impurities are part of their natural appeal. Colors other than Natural and Ibis should be fully encapsulated to avoid sanding through the color.
