Rockler Shoe Horn Turning Kit

If the shoe fits, wear it. But if it's a bit tight, use this shoe horn to open up a nice clear path for your heel. Make the turned section as long as you like to minimize stooping, and so you can use it with your boots. It's actually a first class lever, so length is good. This is a very solid set of hardware, constructed entirely of stainless steel. The hang hole lets you locate it conveniently on a hook in the mud room. Both the shoe horn end and the butt end have integral posts that are glued into your turning. Use our 3/4'' turning mandrel (#51530, sold separately) to get the diameters just right. Then enjoy donning your shoes like true nobility!

Great product - Excellent gift
This is a great product and an excellent gift. It works great and it is easy to turn and make. Only thing is that the hole they say to drill is about 1/64th too big so start with a smaller hole and epoxy.

great idea low quality
This is a low grade Chinese product - there are classier ones in brass on the market. I had some old walking sticks that I reused for the shoe horn and the placed top with the brass duck head.

The horn is nice looking but two horns broke in use and another one bent pretty easy. I had ordered 4 of them for gifts and 3 of them didn't work out.

How long is the S S horn, so I can determine how long a blank is needed?
Tim D on Nov 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Use a yard stick to conveniently measure to the floor and then subtract the dimensions of the horn and top. You can make these to suit the person that is going to use it
