Worked as advertised.
I used a shim as soon as I received the package. It worked as advertised. I used it on a Rocker router table so the shims fit perfectly.

Wery cost effective, has worked very well in aligning materials to build cabinets and book shelves. Provides a great took to set thickness and accuracy.  Can't beat the price.

Great addition to your router table setup!
This makes it possible to use a router table to joint edges. They fit behind the outfeed fence very easily. If they don't fit your bolt pattern, as your own slots to fit. Its quick, and makes a consistent setup easy.

Good value router table shims
Pretty simple product. It does what it's supposed to do. They seem to be durable and will not easily rip/tear/break/crack. I'm pleased with my purchase and they come in handy in many situations.

You can't beat the price on these shims. They are not meant for the smaller Rockler Router fence, but that was an easy fix. I had to add an additional slot to fit the smaller fence. Pretty easy after securing all in place with only one bolt & then drilling through all shims. The hole was then elongated with a dremel using a drum sander.

I want to have a jointing option on the router table. This is a modest additional cost.

Don't have a jointer, and am tired of trying to cut paper thin shims off of scrap to use on the router table.
samuel h on Jul 6, 2016
I am not yet ready to pick up a jointer. These shims will hopefully simplify the jointing I have done on my router table. In the past, I have been cutting my own shims which gets to be a pain.

I have a single car garage wood shop so floor space is important to me. I have a jointer for the shop but only use it to square up the edges of my glue joints etc. <br />I upgraded my router table so I figure that with these shims I can do the same thing as my jointer for my purposes and sell my jointer and gain some floor space in the process.

do not have a jointer in my shop. I tried to make a jointer jig for my table saw but it was rather bulky. These shims did the job with even greater accuracy for my router table.

Can these shims be used with the Rockler Convertible Benchtop router table ?
Steve W on Feb 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These are longer than the fences on the bench top router table, and the slots don’t line up with the fence bolts. Adjustments would be necessary, but I don’t see why you couldn’t cut to size or cut new slots.
Can these shims be modified to use on a Porter-Cable router table?
Jeff on Dec 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: i don't see why not. They are made of plastic, so you should be able to cut them or punch holes in them or whatever needs to be done. They are all different sizes and make a great addition to the router table when you want to joint. Hope this helps.
Steve.
Why would I need these? I would think that if I offset my fence by approx. 1/16" I could achieve the result I am looking for.
Jeff on Dec 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: And these shims are used to offset the fence. Some people use a fence a system that are plum and it maybe easier to have shims with different thicknesses that can be quickly switched out.
