Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector Exterior Finishes, 100ml

In keeping with its name, a single coat of ''Monocoat'' Hybrid Wood Protector both colors and protects exterior wood. Unlike many other outdoor finishes, Hybrid Wood Protector is not film forming, and will never peel or flake. As a hybrid oil finish, it boasts easy application and maintenance, with no lap lines to deal with. Use it on everything from outdoor furniture, exterior doors and shutters to wooden decks, gazebos and pergolas. All colors except for ''Pure'' contain UV stabilizers to protect the wood from discoloration due to sun exposure.

For Horizontal Surfaces: Mix in 10% Oil Plus Part B (#72081, sold separately) prior to application.

For Dirty or Weathered Surfaces: Use Rubio Exterior Wood Cleaner (#77902, sold separately) before application.

Note on UV Protection: ''Pure'' does not contain UV stabilizers and will not provide color stability against the natural aging of wood.

Color Note: Color after application can vary widely depending on the wood species. Main color swatches shown are on pine, and are only an approximation. We recommend testing colors first before final finishing.

Pure or Natural? Pure is a ''clear,'' non-pigmented finish, but like all oil finishes it will enrich and darken your wood somewhat. Natural contains lightening pigments (and UV stabilizers) that result in a color similar to the raw wood.
