This is an accessory planing head for the Festool Planer HL 850 E-F-Plus (#61999, sold separately). It features a wavy, undulating profile with wide spacing for creating a variety of unique effects in solid wood. Working on the diagonal, or in opposing directions, creates an irregular texture resembling rough-planed wooden surfaces. The head comes complete with a durable, precision-ground HSS blade pre-installed, and cuts are clean thanks to the spiral orientation of the blade. When the time comes, blade changes are fast and easy with just three screws, and there is no need to adjust the blade protrusion. Single-blade planing head.
