These aluminum bench dogs measure 1'' in diameter, and are compatible with any of the Sjobergs Elite workbenches (e.g. #51317, sold separately). Though all metal, they are lighter in weight than the stock steel dogs that ship with the Elite workbenches. Each bench dog features a side spring that lets you easily vary the height of the dog for working with varying stock thicknesses. They also feature a flat section that automatically aligns with straight edges as the vise is closed. The round section can be used to clamp concave edges without leaving clamp marks.
