Very satisfied with stand
I'm very satisfied with the stand for my DeWalt 788 Scroll Saw,
kinda hard to put together alone, should have somebody help hold it while you're putting in bolts and nuts

Dewalt 788 Scroll Saw Stand
Heavy duty steel construction. Well designed and height to use the saw. It's very stable no matter how fast you run the saw. An invaluable addition to the use of the saw.

Very solid stand.
This is a very solid stand, very well made. It does not wobble or shift around and is the perfect height as well. The only thing I would like is for it to come with casters so I can move it around in my shop easier as I have limited space and need to move it for storing it between uses. I would definitely recommend this stand and would give it as a gift as well.

Very nice!
The steel bench seems sturdy and adequate and is fairly compact which is nice as far as not using needless floor space. Not too difficult to put together. Tip; The upper front legs are easier to connect to the top cross plate if you only hand tighten the bolts until you get all the upper pieces in place.

what is the height, width and depth of the stand?
J C on Feb 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 32" High, 11" wide at top and 19" wide at the base and 26" deep, the rear leg is 5.5" wide.
are there casters that will work with this saw stand?
William S on Jul 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can put this on casters, but you have to build a base for it. I built one for the base with 3 wheels. I also put a full shelf over the T- shelf with the plywood I had left over. If you plan to take this some place periodically, (such as guild meetings, craft shows, etc.) consider mounting the saw to plywood with extra long bolts to act as locator "pins" to just set it in place by gravity. Hope this helps.
does this stand work with other brands of scroll saws? which ones?
Tom G on Jul 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You could always make a base out of MDF board or plywood and drill mounting holes to match the base of your scroll saw. I am not familiar with any other scroll saws that have the same dimensions as the DeWalt saw.
