The compact footprint of these soft-down drop-front supports makes them ideal for the short, wide cabinet doors common in media centers and TV consoles. Downward-opening flap doors are useful anytime the door is much wider than it is tall, and wherever you have a downward sightline to see into the cabinet interior. The Sugatsune CSD-10 supports feature adjustable opening speed using the concealed screw at the back of each unit. The supports are easy to install and align, since they rest directly on the cabinet bottom and are aligned with the edge of the cabinet. Once closed, they hold the door in the vertical position—no catch required.
