Great product. My only problem with...
Great product. My only problem with the double T Trammel was thre was no pre drilled holes on the leg of the piece to mount it to the ridget fence. So I drilled them and countersunk the unit and I am extremley happy with it and the mounting of the stop block and tape on top is super.

I needed a fence for the radial arm saw. I found this item in the Rockler catalog and decided to give it a try. Installation was easy. Added the measuring tape and now the task of measuring has been simplified to a point that I save time and repeat any measurement in a very efficient way. I highly recommend this product.

I saw an article in ShopNotes...
I saw an article in ShopNotes Magazine Nov/Dec issuewritten by Bryan Nelson about T-Track Trammel. Well I needed one myself so thats why I ordered parts from Rockler . I attached the tape to the top of T-Track, made the heads from so maple scrap that I had. It all works very well . I'm very pleased with Rockler Products that I've ordered so far.

Very Useful
Used this on top of the fence for my miter saw. It stuck to the 1" x 4" I used to make the fence with no problem at all, easy to position properly so the cuts are dead on. Nice to not need a tape measure to cut a few boards.

T-Track Tape Measure
I found it EXTREMELY hard to install the strips into the track. It was shaving off on the edge.

Woodworking Experience:
Less than expected
The arm is. It long enough to provide a stop for some wood. It depends on the height of the fence. So, if the fence is high enough to cut a 2 x4 then the arm wont reach down to less thick wood.

I am an older woodworker, but I firmly believe in utilizing measuring tools that aid in accuracy and efficiency when working with power tools. Remember the old adage "measure twice, cut once?" Nice to have a measuring aid close by to double check my measuring.

This will work in conjunction with the stop on the table saw. I have a dual track on top of my Biesemeyer fence so the tape measure will slide in along with the stop. Saves measuring.

Mine seems to tight. Plastic is shaving off and I can only shove it in my top track a few inches. Is this normal?
Dustin B on Apr 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I did not have that issue. i would check the squareness of the object your inseting it into. i have found that even my huge table saw goes out of square over time,
What is the difference left to right and right to left which one do I buy?
M T on Jul 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The difference is which way the measurements go. For example the right to left means that the right side starts at 0 and counts up the farther you go to the left.
Which one you buy is up to which direction you need to measure. If the stock you want to measure feeds out to the right, get the left to right. If it feeds out to the left, get the right to left.
Hope this helps. Enjoy, I love all of mine
The black insert for the track is to lose it slides around in the track. What do I use to keep it from slipping?
David on Nov 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The back insert should be a snug fit. Are you inserting it into a Rockwell track? I am sorry I am not of more help in this matter. A last resort would be to use double face tape to keep it from sliding around. Good luck!
Does this work with the table saw small parts sled?
Missy G on Oct 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You could make it work for your table saw but you got to think about how you're going to set it up
Can the ruler be in centimeters?

BEST ANSWER: Rockler only sells tapes with “inch” scales; either left-to-right or right-to-left.

Mundo B on Jun 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sorry, we do not.
How do you compensate for the flip stop if indicater is on the opposite side of it and your miter fence rite agaist saw blade to start at zero to make a exact cut when indicater is setting on the leagth you need to cut but it is 3/4 inch off for thickness of the flip stop?
Birdhouse on Nov 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The T-Track Tape Measure Insert is adjustable in the T-track in order to calibrate it to allow for the thickness of the flip stop when using the indicator, whether you are cutting to the left or right of the blade. This can be accomplished by measuring from the cutting edge of the blade to the flip stop at 12" (for example). You would then adjust the T-Track Tape Measure Insert to 12" on the indicator. You can do this for the left side of the blade and again for the right side of the blade. You should check it periodically to maintain calibration. It's a great system and has worked well for me.
Rockler provides a hair line plastic viewer with the measuring tape, but the line does not line up with the actual stop. So your cut will always be longer than what the tape reads at the hair line?????
Bosley on Jul 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The tape is adjustable. You measure from the edge of your blade over to the stopper, then adjust your tape directly under the line. Then set the tape with glue to keep it in place.

Nick W on Feb 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: amazon has tapes that are six feet or longer.
