Original Thread Detective® Thread Gauges, Metric

Whether you're trying to identify loose nuts and bolts or trying to identify the thread pitch so you can purchase replacements, the Thread Detective is the perfect tool. Available in standard or metric, it features clearly marked gauges for quick identification of the size and thread pitch of both nuts and bolts. One end of each gauge checks the nuts, while bolts can be threaded into the other end. The gauges are strung together onto a wire lanyard that can be hung from a nail for convenient storage. Standard gauges are red, and include 14 thread checkers. Metric gauges are blue and include 11 thread checkers.

Standard (red) Thread Detectives include nut and bolt sizes of: 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, 10-32, 1/4-20, 1/4-28, 5/16-18, 5/16-24, 3/8-16, 3/8-24, 7/16-14, 7/16-20, 1/2-13 and 1/2-20.

Metric (blue) Thread Detectives include nut and bolt sizes of M4x0.7, M5x0.8, M6x1.0, M8x1.0, M8x1.25, M10x1.0, M10x1.25, M10x1.50, M12x1.25, M12x1.5, M12x1.75.
