Great blade. Bad user.
The product is fine, the user not so much. I'm new to scroll sawing and am just learning the techniques. Unfortunately, I kept cutting into the sides of my pattern here and there, which worked against me. So, for the sake of cleaner cuts at my skill level, I went to straight one-sided blades until I learn to control my cuts better.

No more turning on the blade.
These are really nice. I was hesitant to use them because they are an omnidirectional cutter. It didn't take long to adjust to no longer having to "turn" the project on the blade. Bigger projects move a lot faster.

Had never used this kind of blade before, with limited use so far I am happy with them. Fit fine in my Ryobi with no problem. Thinner wood will definitely give better results unless you go REAL slow with them . . .

Don't know much about the spiral blade yet. But if it's like anything else it will take some getting use to. I have read some great reviews on how well they cut through wood with little effort.

dO THEY MAKE SCROLL BLADES/UNIVERSAL SPIRAL WITH PINS?
Sarg. on Aug 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I haven't been able to find any yet but someone should.
I have a Delta scroll saw, model 40-450. But, the 5 inch blades either do not fit, or, I am trying the wrong installation of new blades. Can you help me? The ones I have are plain end. Do I need the ones with pins? JR Mathews

I have a saw that requires pins will these work in my saw?
Rachel W on Sep 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Rachel,
No these spiral blades won't work if your saw requires pins, because these have a plain end. To my knowledge spiral blades are not made with pins, but I would be happy to know if anyone else has found them. A few saws that use pins have an adapter for plain ends (like the Shop Fox). If that were the case with your saw, then you could use these, althugh personally, I have found it difficult to hold the spiral blades in an adapter. The flat, plain end spirals work better for that. Good luck.

Are there any scrolls aw blades with pins for attaching?
Edwin T on Nov 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you specifically mean spiral blades, I have not found any with pins after searching widely.
what machine will they work on?
Donovan B on Mar 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I use them on the Dewalt DW788 scroll saw. But they should work on any scroll saw that will accept blades with flat or plain ends. These will not work on saws that only accept blades with pins at each end.
What no. Blade will fit a 1/32 pilot hole ?
Richard B on Sep 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't use spiral blades a lot, so I can't say for sure. Do an Internet search for "Olson scroll saw blades." Olson's website has a chart of their blade sizes and recommended pilot holes. However it would appear none of their spiral blades would accommodate that small of a hole. The nature of the blade twist may be the limiting factor.
Will they fit a 24” Delta scroll saw?
Scoot on Apr 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have the same saw. You will like these blades.
Do these spiral blades all have flat ends in lieu of spiral ends?
Lawrence K on Jan 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Lawrence, Yes ends are flat to fit in clamps. They cut very well
