The Woodcut Tools Bowlsaver Max4 is money in the bank, allowing you to quadruple your turning output by getting up to 4 nested bowls from a single large bowl blank. Material that would have otherwise been reduced to shavings can now be turned into three additional bowls that can be sold as the perfect grain-matched set. The Bowlsaver Max4 Bowl Coring system works on bowl blanks up to 18'' in diameter, using a semi-circular cutter to scoop out most of the waste, leaving a perfect blank for subsequent bowls. This blank can then be hollowed in the same way, leaving a third and fourth bowl blank. The Bowlsaver Max4 is attached to the lathe via the lathe tool post and is also supported at the tailstock for minimal vibration. It includes three blades with Stellite cutters that withstand shocks caused by knots and other hard spots, producing great results with either seasoned or unseasoned timber. If turned unseasoned, the resulting bowl blanks can be set aside for seasoning and finishing at a later date. Includes 1'' Diameter Tool Rest Post.
