Great simple game pegs
Whatever game you are making, these are a very good and affordable option. Very consistent sizing, I used one peg for tests to figure out hole depth and diameter and then went to town on 2 of these boards and bought 3 bags of pegs and all the pegs worked in all the holes. Even compared them to the same pegs my dad bought for making a board many years ago and they are identical. I have not tried finishing them so I do not know how they take stain, I have let the pegs bare wood when I have used them so far and so did my dad and his still look fine many years later with no finish on them and many times playing the game.

Great Quality
Although they are too big for what we needed, because of the quality of the pegs my husband was able to cut them down to what we needed. These were perfect. I wish our game boards were a little larger to accommodate the pegs as they are because we like the feel and size that we actually received but it is easier to cut the pegs then change the board.

Wood game pegs
Wooden game pegs are easy to paint . Use multiple colors for various game and projects . A variation in selection would be nice with the 1/4 diameter x 1/2 inch peg. It would be nice if the stores would carry more than two packages of this product on the shelf. The pegs were out of stock for most of the summer, so had to wait til Sept to finish up. I use 30 pegs for one project, and may do 3 or more at a time on spurt of th moment. Overall satisfied with the product.

My husband is a woodworker and is making game boards for people in the RV Park. These pegs are just what he needs to complete the games as he prefers to paint them himself so that the whole game is hand made.

What is the total length of one peg? We want to use them as part of a handle on a dresser. There would be one on each side

What size hole for Peg?
Stephen W on Oct 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 7/32", but for ease of play I use a brad point drill bit that is 17/64". I hope that helps!
