Needed this plan as my pet dog is on her last legs and I wanted a fitting way for her to go out. Plans were easy to follow and made a beautiful casket.

Details
I liked the plans with the exception of some details could be better. The instillation of the hardware said see manufactures directions. The only directions were for the lid catches, there weren't any for the hinges or the lid stop. For the price of the plans I generally am happy with them.

Pet Casket plans
I used the plans as a basic guideline for the design & dimensions. Then I designed & built a casket for my pet cat that I had for fifteen years. The plans were very helpful as this is the first box that I built & it came out looking great.

Small is too small for anything bigger than a parakeet! Medium is just large enough for a SMALL dog. Plans are easy to follow.

Rip Off
Way overpriced for no more than what you get. This was probably something that other suppliers would give away

Not really enthused about htese plans....VERY brief and no detail what-so-ever. Would have been better to add some pics of what the finished product should look like or something. I am an advanced woodworker and still had some hard times understanding the instructions. Would not recommend these to a novice.

Do we get the actual wood and materials or just instructions?
Ronald R on Mar 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Just the plans, then you can make the material and hardware selection to you liking.
What is the longest and widest dimensions provided in these plans? I am considering a ministry of building boxes like these for the burial of stillborn infants (up to full term) or infants miscarried prior to term. Would your largest plans be suitable? Needs to be at least 23” long finished and at least 15” wide finished.
Angie R on May 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The basic formula for determining a cremation box is 1 cubic inch of space for each pound of live weight so you can alter the plans accordingly
