Exactly what I needed.
I used it to replace the curved transition from wall to ceiling in an RV trailer and it worked perfectly. I am not sure how else I could have accomplished this other than using a tambor or cutting the channels in a panel myself both of which are cost prohibitive. For the price I paid this was a cheap and effective solution. It also shipped and arrived fairly quickly. I would buy this again.

Neatform Bendy...Better than expected
This worked fantastic for my project. It wrapped around my 20” diameter easily. I glued it and used screws to “clamp it” I took the screws out after the glue cured and covered it with pressure sensitive veneer. Well worth the money!

Am transforming a plain 16' beehive fireplace with "paneling" I am using 1x 6s for verticals, and will use Bendy for the horizontals. Cutting each Bendy to 6" (nominal) dimension, using three layers to get the 1" (nominal ) depth. Only way I can figure to get horizontal molding to conform to the curved sides of this tricky fireplace. Will fill the cut edges, sand, and paint the whole thing. Background will be gray Venetian plaster, molding painted glossy gray.

I used this to make a self-propelled car prop for the stage--the sides were flat plywood but the hood, roof and rear were all curved. The bendy MDF worked beautifully for this purpose. The car received its own ovation on opening night.

What is the best way to cut neat form bendy MDF?
Michael C on Apr 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You have to use a carbide tipped blade or cutter. I didn't have that much to do so I just used my table saw. The pieces are only 4' long so they weren't hard to handle. If I had a bunch to do I'd probably set up a router table with a fence and an extended table base to catch the pieces. It's a pretty easy material to work with. Have fun with your project.
Can I use this to build a custom console for my truck project?
Joshua K on Apr 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I used this product to finish out a pair of speaker stands, the speakers have curved sides and the stands were made to match. I would recommend making a subframe for strength and then applying the mdf over that. The Bendy mdf doesn't have much strength and will flex too easily without underlying support.
Any chance this is tough enough to use for the front part of a truck bed RV?
Alvin F on Aug 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You don't say what kind of weight or stress will be on it, but I doubt that 1/4" will suffice. There are places that carry 3/4" bendable plywood and that might be better for your purposes depending on how small of a radius you need to bend it.

Does that mean that I can make a 4ft tall circular column about 8" in diameter from a 24 x 48 piece?
MARK C on Jul 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Mark - The MDF Sheet can make a 24" tall circular column about 15" diameter. The minimum bend radius is about 6". It's a great product for making customer curves and it's used throughout the commercial cabinetry sector.
Can this be used for a ceiling, e.g., around round ductwork?
Richard S on Feb 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: if you plan to just cover the ductwork or hide it I see no problems. It would really depend on how you plan to use it and how small the ductwork is. I built a clock (mora) which is curved and the board went around a 10 inch circle no problem. I really wish I knew how you were going to mount it and a few details to be definite about the answer. But my feeling is yes you can.
Can you make one that's bends the opposite way?
Frank F on Dec 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Bending is achieved by a series of slots on one side closing up (or opening up) as you bend the sheet. Did you want it to bend in both directions. If so you would never have a flat open surface - slots would be on both sides.
Can I glue or laminate 3 layers together over a curved (12" radius) mold and end up with a rigid cabinet door?
Mitchell F on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I glued two layers together and ended up with a very rigid structure for a curved bar. I used every clamp in my shop, and placed them every 4 or 5 inches. With a door, I would support the top and the bottom with a curved interior brace cut to the proper radius with your band saw. That will support the door, and give you something to clamp to. No benefit to 3 layers that I can see. You will need to paint the finished product unless you apply a laminate/venire. I really love this material -- but I'm sure that there is someone better out there to answer your specific question. Sorry if my answer is too simplistic. Brian in Blue Grass, VA
Has anyone tried cutting this sheet on a table saw? I'm looking to cut it down to 2 3/4" x 48" strips but have seen in this comment section and Amazon's that the kerfed side/ridges falls apart during cutting.

I have a fine table saw blade and have created these strips before but I've cut the 2 3/4" x 48" strips before kerfing not after.

Hoping to save myself hours of kerfing.
Fletcher W on Sep 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A fine table saw blade is definitely the way to go; and make sure you have the sheet - grooved face up, assuming your saw blade runs the conventional way. Narrow strips are more tricky, but one suggestion is to lay a second layer of material on top to sandwich the grooved face or straddle the cut line with a strip of masking (or similar) tape.
I am trying to trim out a rescued oval window. Will this material bend to make an oval interior window well? What side will be showing? the kerfed side or plain side? (i know i will have to get more than one pc.) thanks.
oldsarge on Dec 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It depends on the minimum bend radius of the oval window. Neatform comfortably bends to 6" radius, but with care it can go to 4". If you are in deep winter, warming the Neatform first can help. I would suggest having the smooth face out, so you get a nice finish. However, you could consider putting the first layer smooth face in if you think it will give you a better bond to the substreate, particularly if it is a tight radius. A thin layer of wood glue between layers will make it nice and strong, but don't fill the grooves with wood glue - it doesn't add anything and the water base to the glue could permeate through to the final face. I hope you find this helpful.
Bendy MDF as offered by Rockler? Is it LONG-CUT OR CROSS-CUT? Will it make a 48" high tube or a 24" high tube?
MARK C on Jul 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: As I remember the piece that I got was cut the short direction and will form a 24 inch high cylinder

What diameter can this be bent into?
Terry B on Nov 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I was able to bend it around the bottom of the center desk drawer almost 90 degrees. The PSA worked great! I worked it slowly and then clamped with a stick along the length and 3 clamps. Gave it 24 hrs to set and then lightly sanded and stained. Looks great!
I have to make a kitchen otta(counter) of curved shaped so can i use this material?? And it is a it will b used more so frequently will it be strong enough?
Pookhi on Jul 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It depends on how you plan to use it. I used it for a 6-inch wide skirting on a kidney-shaped platform that did not require it to be finished nor exposed to moisture. I used two layers. The inner with the kerfs facing outward and the outer with the kerfs facing inward for a smooth surface and filled the exposed kerfs with wood filler. It has held up well. If used in that fashion, I don't think strength will be an issue. My concern would be how well it would stand up to moisture which would seem to be inevitable if used on a counter top.
