Woodworking Experience:
Best blade you'll ever buy
In my opinion of course. I'm glad I ponied up the extra cash and bought this blade. It is a game changer as far as getting a smooth cut that needed MINIMAL work to get it ready for finish.

Woodworking Experience:
Just what I expected
I replaced a 15-year-old Woodworker II that had a little more run-out than I wanted. This one had approximately .001" run-out and cuts like a dream.

Woodworking Experience:
The Very Best
This is arguably the best saw blade on the market today. I've been woodworking for over 55 years and have used these blades exclusively for the past 20 years. They stay sharp, run true, and leave a little or no sanding edge on every type of natural wood. Another good point is you can send them back to Forrest for resharpening to a new condition.

The Forrest website is touting .001 max runout. My 15-year-old Woodworker II is giving .006 runout. I'm hoping this will fix some of the end-cut snipe I've been getting.

How good will this blade cut hardwoods like walnut and zebrawood?
Michel L on Aug 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is an excellent blade. It will crosscut hardwoods without a problem but it tends to burn if used to rip. If ripping, I suggest raising the blade higher than normal and push the piece thru quickly, to avoid burn.
