First impression: Well packaged, it came...
First impression: Well packaged, it came in heavy duty plastic pouch with a snap closure. The bit itself is coated in some type of oil then sealed in a rubbery glue of sorts. All this keeps the bit sharp and corrosion free. Note: every Rockler bit that I have came this way!I put the bit into my router table and grabbed a piece of pine 1 x 3. It’s a big bit so let piece move at the pace it wants to. I was giving it a little bit more pressure than needed and I got a few divots at the end. With the realization of the pressure this bit cuts nice and smooth. Only a bit of touchup sanding needed. Great product Rockler!

I needed an inexpensive bit to make my own chair rail for furniture trim. This seems to be perfect.

YaValioCacaWate on Jun 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I ran at about 10000 rpm.
I was working maple
I made 2 passes. The first was about half the depth and a final pass.
It worked great. I didn't try a single pass so I don't know how that would work.
