Very sturdy plastic junction. Easily connects to 4 inch dust collection tubing . This junction splits apart into 2sections that snap together, not sure why but doesn’t affect function

3 way Dust collector junction
Could not find this at competitor. I also bought complete closing valves with rubber gaskets for each outlet. i to table saw, 1 to the router table and 1 to my mitre saw. I must remember to leave one valve open.

Great product
It is the perfect solution to my problem. I have a jet vacuum and it sits in the middle if my planner, belt/disk sander and band saw. In the past I would have to disconnect it from on and connect it to another. Now with the 3-way, with a dust gate on each port all I have to do is open one gate and have the other two closed.

Great addition to my double bag vacuum
Works great with only one limitation. The only problem I have is that it puts all the weight of 3 hoses and 3 blast gates on one side of my double bag vac and tends to tip over. The solution is to put about a 5 or 10 lb weight on the base on the opposite side and everything's good.

I needed a three way junction to serve my spindle sander, 6x48 belt disc sander, and band saw. This will allow me to use just one primary line to access these three principle machines and allow me some flexibility in machine placement.

Most stationary systems are only a horse to a horse and a half. I’m setting my system up with a 6 1/2 hp rigid shop vac i’m wanting to use 2 1/2 inch hose because that’s what I have can why the discrepancy in horsepower. Is it because of the size of the impeller shouldn’t 6 1/2 hp coupled with 2 1/2 inch hose create more suction. Second question do you make your three-way splitter in the size of 2 1/2?
Kent W on Dec 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Kent, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but my experience has been that I get better suction with the larger (4") hose. With the horsepower you've got, I would think that you would want your system to "breath" easier by letting a larger volume of air flow through it.
Will my dust rite hose fit directly to it?
Cds on Nov 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It should.
