Good Product, but not for men with beards
If you have a beard, this product cannot create a good seal between itself and your face. It seems to be a good product, but people with beards will need something more elaborate to ensure protection from noxious fumes.

Good Respirator Product
Haven't used a lot of respirators, but this seems to be doing the job well in HVLP spraying painting.

I've been a painter for 21 years and I was due for a new resp. I trust 3M products, and easy to replace cartridges/filters.

Read customers comments. However, you should include the micron level that the respirator will filter out.

How does this unit fit around the nose? Fogged glasses are more dangerous than dust!
Dennis M on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I've found that the mask works extremely well. There is no fogging because the seal is air tight. However, my safety glasses don't fit well over the mask as it would without it.
How often do the cartridges have to be replaced, assuming 3-4 hours of use in a typical dusty woodshop five days a week? Just a rough estimate. Once a year, a month, a week, a day????
Chuck Watson on Mar 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Based on my experience, I would say once a year. I use mine for woodworking. 4-5 hours per day, 3-4 days per week.
Does this mask work for dust?
Dennis M on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This mask works great for dust. I got the particulate filters to reduce weight and to save the filters that come with it for when I need to filter out more than just dust.
will this work in mask model 6297?
