4-Piece Narex Mortise Chisel Set

These Narex mortising chisels feature sturdy shanks that resist deflection when levering out stubborn chips and shavings from deep mortises. Thanks to their trapezoidal cross-section and subtle taper from tip to shoulder, sidewall friction when levering is effectively minimized. The substantial bolstered handles withstand heavy chopping and fill the hand comfortably. Forged from alloyed chrome-manganese steel and heat-treated to 59 HRC. Stained and waxed beech handles are oval in shape for comfort, and to resist rolling on a bench.
