Works perfectly
These replaced older units that look the same that were used for 23 years and were beginning to fail. Unscrewed the old ones and screwed these in.

Moving your chair on a hard floor
Used these on an existing metal kitchen set that had pin type material filled protectors/glides. Had to drill and tap the holes for a #10-32 button head socket screw in order to clear the plastic, removed the self adhesive layer. Have had this set for many decades, vast, vast improvement for use on hard surfaced kitchen floor. You know you did good when the big boss (wife) says this is great.

Great product and something that is rare. Works better than the stick -on kind that you can find anywhere. Worth the time to do the job right.

Would these work ok for my four legged bar stool at my kitchen counter and I have the rough looking wood tile for flooring?
Diana G on Nov 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I put them on the bottom of an antique high chair used on smooth hardwood floors. They work so well that my 11 month old granddaughter uses the high chair as a "walker" pushing it across the floor. Not sure how they would be on rough wood floors but they definitely won't damage it.
Are these Teflon? We have 100 year old maple and oak flooring and are totally done with stick on felt?
Ron C on Aug 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes they are teflon. However, my last encounter with these were not a positive one. Specifically, The top teflon portion piece broke away rather easily from the metal and rubber bottom portion. They could work, but instillation as to be just so so, and you cannot over tighten.
Does it help to move furniture on carpet floors?
Joel M on Jul 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No these will not help to move furniture on carpet.
do these swivel flat to the floor?
Charlie B on May 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They have no swivel mechanism. If your chair leg does, then this would also, but it mounts flush to the bottom of your chair leg.
Will they work well on tile for my dinning chairs??
Diane on Nov 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That is what we used them with. Unlike the sticky pads, they stay in place forever. They are not as soft as the sticky pads but after installing these, we found our chair feet will hold a sticky pad longer too now. We have hard wood floors.

Can they be used on carpet too?
Susan Y on Feb 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Susan I have them on my barstools on my outside patio which is stained concrete and work great on any hard surface. They are plastic glides and the screw as you can see is recessed. I think you could use them on carpet without any problem.
Are these safe for hardwood floors?
Jean D on Oct 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They should be. The only part which contacts the floor is nylon. Be sure that the screw is driven all the way in so it doesn't protrude and scratch the floor.
Can these be used on the bottoms of round-based patio chairs outside on concrete patios?
CAdreamin' on Jun 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. That is exactly what I used them for. I substituted stainless steel sheet metal screws to attach them.

Jean D on Oct 10, 2017
