I was looking for a way to validate the angle to the blade to cut segment bowl parts. This has worked well to set and verify the angle for the ROCKLER table saw sled. I have found it very useful and works very well.

Simply the best item in your shop.
I have found that this tool has solved many of my mathematical problems and unfortunately proven many of the items I have purchased in the past to be inaccurate. I cut a lot of different angles to make custom items that don’t follow simple geometry. This gauge has really improved my cuts and allows a greater precision in the fits
If you use a table or miter saw you need this tool.
I highly recommend this over any other gauge offered.

Great addition to my shop
When you are going for accuracy in your wood working it pays to have the right tool to set up your equipment. I still check with a scrap piece of wood and a Combination Square and each time it has been on the money. I would recommend this protractor to anyone .

My 8" Wixey Protractor
This protractor works vertical and horizontal; I found a 1/32" bind in my saw blade. You old pros can eyeball it but for a new guy like me this tool is great. The magnets hold it steady and it's accurate.

Purchased with the angle gauge. This is for the other applications where the angle gauge will not work.

Because of the reviews and I need to have very accurate angles for my projects. I make a lot of lazy Susans that are made of multiple pieces in odd numbers so the degrees to cut them must be very accurate.

We have a job with odd angles coming up and this is the best tool for the job.

As a professional I need true cut. Just because you have a mark on your saw does not mean its exact. I use this to check my saw angles every time I set my saw up. Quick and easy to use. A must have!

can you use the protractor to measure corners for crown molding?
Danny H on Mar 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: yes, just make sure you can read the digital display, as there is no way to lock the angle in place.
