Made a great custom banquet/gaming table
I bought two sets of these legs to make new banquet/game room tables for our home. Used 3/4" oak plywood for the tops and I am very happy with the final product. The one problem I had was in attaching/installing the legs to the plywood tops. I would have given 5 stars, but it was a little difficult to follow the instructions as exactly how to measure/fit the parts of the legs to the top. The end result is very good though, and I would use these legs again. Just be prepared to think a bit about how to attach them before drilling any holes.

Parts missing
Legs are fine. Nothing fancy or super-strong, but they do the trick. But the box says screws were included and there were none. Likewise, there were supposed to be plastic or rubber feet on the legs and there were not, so the sharp metal edges are exposed.

I have ordered 20+ of these leg sets for hobby table use. Excellent value - sturdy - relatively easy to install. Only problem has been loss of hardware from some boxes probably damaged in shipment. Once informed, Rockler has been quick to replace the hardware. Well done!!!

Need to make a table. Just a hint, if you have or get a used hollow core door, like a closet drawer, it makes a sturdy but light weight table to use for large parties. Tables you can buy are nice but so heavy.

Excellent for home made hobby tables and layout surfaces (2X4s and plywood). Dowel inserts in legs can be used to elevate work surface. Very stable legs, especially when tables are connected to each other.

I have a small Formica countertop that I no longer need in the kitchen - this will let me convert it into a folding craft table.

Built a table top for starting plants from seed. Since it's a table for seasonal use, the folding legs will allow easy storage.

Can this be used for a 3 ft by 6 ft table top?
George V on Aug 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I put these legs on a prefab countertop section that was 25.5" x 48.5" - it took some careful fitting to allow the legs to fold completely. You should be fine with 3' x 6' - but others would be wise to look carefully at the size of their top surface to make sure the legs will fold completely. The stamped-metal leg braces may have sharp edges - I had to file mine down. Check yours carefully.
can this be used on a 4x8 sheet of plywood? I want to make a ho train layout.
mike g on Jan 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Probably not, the table legs at the edge of the plywood would make the "table" to tip with very little pressure on either end. We used these table legs for a 70 in round table. Also, you would need another board under the 4x8 to attach the screws to the table base.
How big would a table have to be to accommodate these legs when they’re folded?
Lynn E on Apr 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I mounted them at the edges of a 5' long table, which left me 6 inches of clearance between the two sets of legs when folded. So 4'6" would seem the limit if everything was cut and laid out precisely.
How flat are these when folded?
Jathkajoe on Nov 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They are about an inch. Foldup nice and fluid motion, they click into place and hold. We use them on a substantially heavy table and they have worked great :-)
