These bushings are precisely machined to match the diameters of the hardware included with your Seam Ripper Turning Kits (#54773 and #54991, sold separately). They allow you to achieve smooth, perfectly flush seams, resulting in a top-quality hand-turned sewing implement. Just turn the blank until the ends are almost flush with the bushings, then sand to final dimension.
