Really happy with what I got. I'm new to the whole woodworking but I got stuff for exactly what I want to do. Make some knife handle and some checkering practice pieces. I would submit pictures but I cant figure out how.

Curiosity satisfied
I found a few jewels in the rough that made the purchase worthwhile-it was fun trying to figure out all the different species-I got one small chunk of a burl slab end grain showing which made a beautiful pipe!

Small, thin and cracked pieces
Has some nice exotic hardwood pieces that I can't tell the species, but all very small and thin, barely enough for making necklaces or earrings.

I had ordered a similar package from you 3-4 years ago, and was very pleased.

I was very disappointed when I opened the box. Most of the pieces were very small unsquared cubes that could not safely be squared with any power saw. Only 3 pieces in box were usable for anything—the rest was waste.

I realize the order does not vary from the specs on your website, and therefore this is not a claim for a refund, or a return. However, I must tell you that I will not be ordering any items from Rockler in the future. You have some very good products and a good selection, but this box of cutoffs is just selling waste for a profit.

I'm helping my buddy explore using wood carving as a group therapy for combat vets. If this grab-box works out, we may be able to use this as a supply option.

There are many times where i would like to add small sections of domestic hardwood to a project to add to the appearance of either plywood or else fronts of small cabinets.
