The Festool 495165 router attachment is used to flush trim edge banding and edge veneers with a tiny chamfer (1.5°). On thin veneers and bandings, this small bevel is undetectable, but it allows you to trim the edge veneer truly flush without damaging the workpiece surface. The router table on the attachment provides a large bearing surface for reliable guidance, and can be positioned both horizontally and vertically on the MFK/OFK 700. Dust is dealt with via an extraction hood. Allows for use of bearing-less bits in conjunction with feeler bearing set mounted to MFK 700 router.
