Great product!
I order these every time we do a cabinet where the customer wants to bi-fold a door that we have European style hinges on. They match in style and finish and when the door needs to lay flat (not in a corner) these do exactly what we want. After searching awhile this is like the only product like this, which is surprising.

neat product
This works just as well as piano hinge on bi fold cabinet doors and a lot easier as just drill it like you are the rest of cabinet doors. I would use much more often if price wasn't so high. I primarily use Blum hinges and being in the cabinet business I am use to buying wholesale.

great hinge
Very useful hinge. I used them on an entertainment center to hide the television. Used them in conjunction with the pocket door system.

Only improvement to hinge would be some vertical adjustment.

Cabinet door hinge and template
This is a very good hinge with one exception. When using a cabinet door template to drill placement of this hinge I found that the screw holes do not align with the template. The larger hinge body hole aligns perfectally so it just a matter of using the hinge as the templste. Not a big deal.

Do these work on the bi-fold section of the doors of a lazy Susan cabinet? My doors fold into the corner with the hinges on the inside when closed and fold out against the other panel when open. Will these work for that?

BEST ANSWER: If I understand your question correctly, I don't think so. My Lazy Susan door has what Rockler calls a "pie corner" European hinge. I used the hinge you are asking about on some regular bifold doors. I tried to upload some photos of my actual set up but you can't do that via this email. You can only refer to items in the Rockler catalog.
Is there a corresponding lock or holding mechanism to hold the outer door in place when doors are in closed position? Or does it just rely on the main hinge to hold both doors in closed position?

BEST ANSWER: Jerry, I apologize. I've been very behind in my emails and just saw this. There is no mechanism to hold the door closed. Yes, the main hinge holds both doors closed straight and flat.
Does this hinge come in brass or bronze color?

BEST ANSWER: As far as i know it is just in the nickel / chrome finish that is shown. If there is any other finish available, i am not aware. In saying that, these hinges work out great!
The picture of the hinge shows one door stightly offset. In other words, the doors don't appear to be centered over the hinge. Do the doors need to be setup this way? If so, how much is the offset?

BEST ANSWER: I guess i havent looked close at the pivot point when the doors open and close on previous jobs, so i cannot give a accurate answer on that. To the edge of the 35 mm cup, we have used a 4.5 mm offset or slightly smaller than that. These hinges work great for a bifold cabinet door application. I have not been able to find a comparable hinge.
My bifold doors will not close flush after installation. Currently the hinges are inside the fold of the two panels. Your product hinges are installed on the outside of the two panels; right?

BEST ANSWER: Hinges are mounted on the inside so they are invisible. There is some adjustment of the middle piece where it attaches to the inset piece. I used a locating jig to assure the drilled out portion is properly located.
