Thanks to their double-ground serrated edges, Freud's Precision Shear Forstner Bits apply a slicing action that results in less splintering and chipping, and a clean, flat-bottomed hole. Their multiple cutting edges result in more shearing action, which allows faster rotation and more efficient drilling. Steep cutting angles create chisel-like curls that are easily ejected from the cut, reducing heat and wear. Forged from hardened steel, rather than cast, for maximum bit life. Set includes bits from 1/4'' to 1'' in diameter, in 1/8'' increments.
