Clean sharp cuts
I only tried it on Pine so far but the results were fantastic. I used it with Rockler's keyhole template and guide bushing.

works great
this bit works better than any other I have used. it also routs deeper than any other and that makes it great for heavy projects because it doesn't let the screws pull out of the slot. great bit.

Was a tough choice between this one and the Rockler version. In the end I picked this one as I have a Freud blade for my table saw and it is absolutely outstanding. Only time will tell whether Freud bits are as good as their blades.

BEST ANSWER: This bit is pretty small and delicate. I would suggest using something a little more robust like an endmill.
