Changed my view of flush trim bits!
I had not had much luck with cheaper flush trim bits, but the edge and fluting on this bit has made it a mainstay in my workshop. It seems to get used on just about everything, from cleaning up edges to enlarging holes.

Great bit and great price
Great cutting action for a great price. Really stood up to the abuse it went thru. Like the individual case it comes in. Makes it easy to store and find.

What is the difference between having the bearing on the top versus the bottom?
Bernie C on Jun 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Well berine it all depends on what your doing .bearing is used to run on the finished edges so bottom bearing cuts laminate edge on top edge. Top bearing runs along top finish edge to cut below top or bearing rides on template to duplicate what you are making hope this helps.
I want to use this bit to trim laminate. Should I purchase the 2 or 3 flute bit?
Jennifer C on Mar 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've used both types, but I prefer the 3 flute bits. I should emphasize that this is just a matter of preference. For trimming laminate I haven't noticed any difference in the outcome.

I was using a 1/2 inch bit and the bearing failed after brief use. I was using it to cut a pattern in 3/4 in plywood. Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Need to cut real close with a jigsaw first about 1/8 in from line or pattern then use ur flush bit it will make ur bit last longer
