It does just what it should. Never blame the tool for a bad job- if you use it correctly it delivers. Remember to clean all bits occasionally to prevent burning- especially on plywood.

I bought the 3/4 inch to make dados for cabinet shelves. This bit plowed right through the oak plywood and gave a nice smooth cut without a problem! Love this bit!

Purchased Freud 1/4" straight bit for routing drawer sides. Use a product called plus wood for drawer bottoms. This material is a full 1/4" thick and had to replace an old 1/4" bit. It is not a full 1/4" D so I had to move router fence back and forth for 10 drawers. If I wanted a 7/32" I would have ordered that size. Have quite a few Freud bits with no problems, but this is another matter. Maybe that is why its been on sale quite a while for half price.

This was my first time to do box joints with a router. The Freud bit cut clean, precious cuts that fit together perfectly.
