High quality
High quality, but didn't work full overlay on my cabinet as I would have needed to install a ledger board on the inside, but didn't have the room. I turned the bracket around so the track ran on outside of the cabinet and it worked at about 3/4 overlay. Great product though, and will definitely will be using this product many more times.

what is the maximum weight capacity of the kv 8091 pocket door system?
What's the diameter of the hinge bore? I'm having doors custom made, and I want to make sure they are the right size for this system.
BEST ANSWER: 40mm is the specifications call for, I did not have a 40mm and used a 1 9/16" hole with no problems, though that makes the hole 3 hundredths of an inch oversized it worked wonderfully well.

Are these hinges soft close as well ?
BEST ANSWER: No, they are self-closing, but not soft close. Be aware that this system is designed to be installed on a partition, not on the cabinet wall. Found that I can achieve 1/2" overlay by discarding the brackets and installing the hinges on the slide plates, with the slides mounted to the sidewalls. Did not want to add partitions.

Difference between full overlay and partial overlay?
BEST ANSWER: Full overlay, the door fully covers the cabinet edge. Partial overlay, the door covers roughly half the cabinet edge. Inset, the door sits inside the cabinet edge.

Says full overlay. How much does it end up being? 5/8"? 3/4"?
BEST ANSWER: I believe 5/8", but it was last fall...
If I was to do this again, I would make the pocket panels removable, because getting in there to adjust hinges was very difficult with the pocket panels fixed.

will this work for a 1" thick door ?
BEST ANSWER: I used it for a 5/8” thick door. I’m not sure what it’s rated for but I would trust the company specs on it.
