Laguna’s 6|89T Edge Sander is ideal for sanding contours, smoothing the faces of jewelry boxes and drawers, or edge sanding doors. The face of the belt tips back (as the motor housing swings forward) so you can sand chamfered edges. Angling the head also allows you to apply either downward pressure for face sanding or sideways pressure for edge sanding. A smaller auxiliary table at the end of the belt lets you sand smooth inside contours. The large main table provides an accurate reference surface, and the miter gauge slot lets you fine-tune your angles or miters.
