Splitter
I have a late 1960''s model Craftsman table saw which did not have a splitter. I make my own zero clearance inserts and this product works great on these inserts.

Great TS safety product
This thin kerf micro jig adds safety to TS cutting operations and is easy to add to most throat plates. Do read/understand the instructions BEFORE you begin.

Easy to install, great for zero-clearance inserts
Great product! I wanted a splitter to use with shop-made zero-clearance inserts. It's difficult to use the built-in splitter with such a ZCI on my saw (Bosch 4100). Easy to install if you read the instructions, and I've set up multiple ZCIs to work with the same set of SteelPRO devices.

Best $ I have spent in a long time. Should have bought this sooner. Installation was very easy following excellent instructions. Holes were very tight and needed reaming per the instructions. Just a light pass over the jointer and ready for glue-up. No more burning or binding of the save part.

I have a 40yr old craftsman saw that was my Grandfathers. Saws back then didn't have all the safety bells and whistles I would like them to. Rather than replace a saw that has sentimental value I want to give it as many upgrades as possible.

How do they work with ripping 2X4s?
A shopper on Jun 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: tHE PURPOSE IS TO SECURE THIN CUTS AND TO KEEP A SPACE SO THE PIECE WON'T BIND AND KICK BACK. IT SHOULD WORK FINE WITH A 2X4 IF YOU HAVE A CONCERN ABOUT KICK BACK USE A FINGER BOARD ALSO
Will the tabs in the thin kerf Microjig work with 1/8" Microjig setup as well? I'd prefer not to create a 2nd ZCI plate ...
Mark O on Mar 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You need to use a different ZCI plate for each kerf width if you want the best results from your saw cuts. Using thin kerf tabs in a full kerf insert will result in cuts with more tearout than if you make a dedicated thin kerf ZCI.
Will the thin kerf splitter work with an ultra thin diablo blade?
Dave I on Aug 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This I'm not sure of. I use it with Diablo's Thin Kerf blade and works great! Are you able to compromise on the ultra thin kerf?
need to get replacement thin kerf tabs ?
squeaks on Jul 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not yet but I have seen a few plates with busted tabs that came with my table saw. If one is not very careful I can see how it would be easy to bust a tab off.
