This set provides all you need to get started carving spoons and many other projects. Made by Narex in the Czech Republic, the three included carving tools feature handles made of stained beech, finished with a dark matte varnish. All tools are of professional quality, made from manganese alloy steel, hardened to 61 HRC, and surprisingly sharp right of the box. A light honing is all that's needed to turn up the finest shavings. Includes a general-purpose Sloyd knife, a deeply-contoured spoon carving knife, a spoon carving chisel/gouge and a lime wood carving blank.
