Non-Skid Rubber Bumpers

Non-skid polylastomer material keeps objects in place and protects the underlying surface.
Item #
94% of 100

Made from a non-skid material called Polylastomer®, these rubber bumpers excel at keeping objects in place, and protecting the surface beneath. Now you can mince garlic without the cutting board walking across the counter. They also have utility in the shop for jigs, or for protecting sanded surfaces while you sand the other side. Use them on bread boxes, cookbook holders, or as heavy-duty bumpers for larger cabinet doors. Available in 1/2" or 3/4" diameters.

  • Made from Polylastomer®, a rubber-like material
  • Use screws to secure the rubber bumpers
  • Also can be used as case feet for lightweight furniture that tends to slide

Perfect Fit
I ordered these to replace the crumbling feet on some vintage equipment I picked up on ebay and at estate sales. Works fine, perfect fit. They work better than the hard rubber feet that were already on the devices. Thanks!

How long is the screw??
Val Q on Feb 5, 2016
Are the screws made of stainless steel?
George F on Aug 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I do not know the answer to your question but I had the same concern. The bumpers were installed on a wood cutting board that gets wet. I replaced the screws with brass screws and, a year later, they are like brand new. The bumpers are great for keeping a cutting board still. I would not trust the screws in an application where they will get wet.
Can you use on granite cheese board and if yes, how to attach?
A shopper on Jun 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've only ever used the bumpers on wooden boards, but I would think if the bumper screw holes were drilled slightly larger than the screw diameter, you could then use an epoxy to fill these holes and, before the epoxy starts to set up, screw the bumpers in and let the epoxy set up.
I purchased these for a cutting board and the feet act like skates and it makes the cutting board slide more. Do you sell something that is effective for cutting boards be uses these aren't effective?
Nancy G on Aug 20, 2016
I assume you're referring to the Rockler bumpers, item #45929. I've been using these bumpers on the cutting boards I build for several years now and, have not encountered any problems. Rockler does have bumpers that are three quarters in diameter. Using these might solve your problem because they would have a greater surface area of contact with your countertop. It is possible your cutting board is light in weigh and, as a result, the bumpers just don't have the "friction bite" to hold your board in place. Sorry I can't be of more help.
What is the diameter of the screw hole? Trying to use my own existing hardware...
Mike O on Jan 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello Mike,
I have been using these bumpers as pads under the end-grain cutting boards I make. Because I'm mounting them in end-grain, the pilot hole I drill is slightly less than the diameter of the "shank" of the screw. I've had good luck using a 3\32 drill bit. Also, since the bumpers are made of fairly soft rubber, I am careful not to tighten them too much, as the screw will pull through the pad. So far, so good. Hope this info helps.
Do these have an embedded metal washer to retain the rubber foot in place in the event of lateral forces?
Stephen W on Oct 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No I used them as is and they worked just fine for me. I put them on a large checker board that I made and they work well for that purpose.
How long are the screws?
Roger G on Jul 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I think they were ½" long. I was mounting them on ¾" thick wood. My concern was that the screw didn't come al the way through the board. You can use any screw as long as the head and shaft diameter fit inside the rubber bumpers.
Will these work for the bottom of a suitcase?
Amber on Jul 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They would if you had a way of fastening them on securely. Most suitcases have thin wall material.
You may have to epoxy small pieces of wood to the inside of the suitcase for the screws to anchor to.
Can these be used for chairs ?
Richard M on Mar 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: these are too small and too tall for chairs. I would expect that the short screw and tall nature of the rubber foot would result in these pulling right out of the bottom of the chair.
Are these solid or hollow ? Can the be used on folding seats? How much weight can it handle before cracking??
Daniel S on Nov 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are cup shaped, approx. 3/4 in. diameter. Soft rubber, so they will not work with folding chairs. They can be crushed with finger pressure. Great for cuttingboard feet, but not for chairs. Sorry
Do you have 3/4" bumpers that are 1/2" high? Quarter inch is too short.
Diane H on May 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use the 3/4" bumpers on my cutting boards, only I change the screws to stainless steel so they won't rust. They seem to do the job of stopping the boards from moving when used.
