Rockler Quick-Release Bar Clamp Rack
Conveniently stores up to 15 quick-release bar clamps.
Item #
48605

Shop-made clamp racks tend to fall apart over time, especially if the clamps are spaced close together, with narrow "fingers" in between. This unit is fabricated from sturdy galvanized steel to prevent just that problem. Because of the steel, it can pack up to 15 quick-release bar clamps into a space only 24-3/8" long. The pads on your clamps hook over the trough at the back of the rack, so they won't wobble free, and there's no need to close the clamps for storage. The clamp rack is drilled 16" on center for mounting to wall studs, and is also pre-drilled to mount to the Pack Rack Clamp and Tool Storage System (#21834, sold separately). Made in USA.
Features:
- Sturdy galvanized steel is extremely durable and resists corrosion
- Stores up to 15 quick-release type bar clamps
- Pre-drilled 16" on center for mounting to wall studs
- Also pre-drilled to mount to the Pack Rack Clamp and Tool Storage System (#21834, sold separately)
- 24-3/8" long
- Spacers between clamp slots measure 1.33" wide
- Clamp storage slots measure 0.3" wide
- Accepts most quick-release bar clamps

Solid product
Rack works well and holds a variety of brands of clamps. It was much heavier than expected which is generally good. You might say unbendable but the first one I received was actually bent. Customer service was great.

wall rack
Nice system for storing clamps. I find it takes vary little room on the wall and are easy to access. I will add more as I add more clamps. You can NEVER have too many clamps!

What size of screw is recommended for fastening to wall to support the weight of the rack + clamps?

Rockler Quick-Release Bar Clamp Rack

BEST ANSWER: I used 3 inch lag screws, hex head. easier to drive into studs. pre drill holes first so it makes it easier, and not split the stud.

What is the size of the slot that holds the pad - distance front to back?
BEST ANSWER: Hi Mark...Can't believe Rockler couldn't answer this. Slot width is 5/16". Distance between slots is 1-5/16". Slots are 1-1/2 long. Space the pad has to sit on is 3" deep. Distance from the slot to the base (where the pad sits is 1-1/4". Hope this helps!

Do the heavy duty DeWalt speed clamps fit on this? I've got tons of the 24 inch black ones and need to better organize them.
BEST ANSWER: I have some 48 inch dewalt clamps and they fit just fine. One note, my bar width is 3/8' and fits in the slot. I do have Craftsman 24" with a width of 1/4" and fits fine. If the bar width is larger than that, I will not fit in the groove. Hope this helps.
