I use a lot of these
There are a lot of different clamps like these and they are all pretty good. I use a lot of jigs and a lot of clamps. This style gives an added convenience of creating a handle to push your material through a table saw, router table, etc.

Quick Set Post-Handle clamp
I highly recommend this product. My projects require multiple clamp adjustments which were always difficult. Not any more as the Quick-Set is a breeze to adjust. A very innovative solution to an old problem.

Needed at least 1 3/4" capacity for curved chair legs jig. Two of these clamps will be mounted on toggle clamp mounting plates which will allow them to slide in T-track for precise location. I could have rigged something up, but this is exactly what I need.

I have two of these already. They serve to hold a fence against which I run my router. Since I work on things of various sizes, the two I have aren't always in the right place. With two more, I can use any two (or more) to hold my work without moving their locations. (Note they get screwed down.)

What is the range of thicknesses that this can accommodate by adjusting the screw?
Bill G on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: About 5/8 inch. I had boards a bit over 1in thick to route in a homemade jig. I used a spacer and adjusted accordingly
Name of clamp. Can someone explain how this works? Concerning the name Quick-Set Post-Handle Clamp High Base, I understand- meaning of Quick-set, clamp, and base. However, what do Post-handle and High refer to?
