Excellent product that arrived promptly and functions like it should, very tough and sturdy for such a small hinge.

I recently refinished an old oak chest for an elderly lady. It went well until I found some of the parts missing for the mirror. I went to Rockler and quickly found just the right ones and ordered them. They arrived sooner than expected and I was able to finish the job in time for Christmas. The lady in question shed tears of joy as the chest was one she thought could never be replaced. I might add Rockler is the only place I was able to find the parts I needed.

What is the load rating for these hinges? My antique mirror seems too heavy for such tiny hinges, at about 40 lbs. Thanks.
Claire S on Jan 30, 2016
I’m reconstructing an old sewing table into a vanity. I would like to install a tilt mirror on the back and am unsure of which kind of hardware to use. The mirror is about 10 lbs, oval shaped with a metal frame which is about 4” wide around it. Can you tell me what kind of hardware I could use?
Kimberly P on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I used these swivel hinges to mount a 18x28 mirror with a 1 1/2” wooden frame onto a vanity. I’m not sure of the mirror weight but it was fairly healthy. A couple of years have past since doing so and the hinges have worked perfectly without any problems.
I'm trying to replace an antique hinge on a dresser with a mirror that swivels back and forth but the width of the hinge is 1 3/4 and the screw holes are 1 1/4 apart. So I'm concerned that this replacement hinge won't be wide enough. How can I be sure?
Nordy on Jul 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I was attempting the identical fix as it sounds like you have and this hinge was perfect. Once assembled, the mirror could be rotated to any angle desired and held it firmly in place. There is some play with respect to how far apart the two sides can be because the central spindle slides within both sides.
