The Robert Sorby Internal Shear Scraper Cutter is a full round cutter designed for use with the Robert Sorby Shear Scraper Handle #827H External Shear Scraper and #826H Internal Shear Scraper (#43794 and #43702, sold separately). Once installed on the handle, it scrapes at the optimal shear angle of 45° for a superior finish on any inside curve. Use it for smoothing the interiors of goblets, egg cups, bowls, boxes, vases and more. The cutter can be rotated to maximize its useful life, and is easily sharpened by drawing a diamond file or honing stone across the top face. For the greatest longevity, honing should be done often, and in short spells.
