Rockler 2-in-1 Edge Banding Trimmer
Trim protruding edges and ends of veneer and plastic edge banding flush with the substrate in one easy swipe and two quick squeezes.
More detailsThis simple and versatile tool lets you trim both long protruding edges of wood veneer or plastic edge banding perfectly flush with plywood or melamine board substrates at the same time, then neatly clip off the ends—two trimming operations in one tool! Squeezing the tool's sides brings a pair of internal blades together for the first long cuts. Turning the Trimmer 90° and fitting it onto the end of the edge banding quickly sets it up for the end-clipping cuts. Its four stainless steel blades resist corrosion and are easy to replace. The Trimmer cuts material from 1/2'' to 1-1/4'' wide and up to 0.025'' thick. Replacement Blades (#67718) are sold separately.
Rockler 2-in-1 Edge Banding Trimmer Details:
- Trims both long edges of wood veneer or plastic edge banding flush with the substrate at the same time
- Clips off ends of edge banding neatly with the corners of the substrate
- Tool can be pushed or pulled when trimming long edges—blades cut both ways
- Stainless steel blades resist corrosion and are easy to replace when they dull
- Pivoting orange guard shields fingers from blade exposure when trimming long edges
- Compact size is small enough to fit in an apron pocket
Notice: If your 2-in-1 Edge Banding Trimmer has been compressed during shipping or use and doesn't spring back to the full open position, carefully pull the two sides completely apart – keeping your hands and fingers away from the blades – and then fit and press them back together. This should reset the internal air pressure and allow the sides to compress and spring back. Additionally, if you need to lubricate the O-rings on the posts, use only a silicone-based lubricant.
