How do you want your item?

For those who make cabinet doors only occasionally, this cutter provides an affordable, space-saving solution to routing cope and stick joints. One bit cuts both rail and stile profiles; just remove the cutters and rearrange them to go from coping rail ends to routing grooves in the stiles. Because the bit is bearing-guided, you can also rout arched rails without a template or fence. Available in Chamfer, Ogee and Classical styles (27190, 23422 and 27602, respectively). 1-5/8" diameter x 15/16" cutter height x 1/2" shank. 5/8" bearing. Groove is 3/8"D x 1/4"H.

Instructions for Routing:

  • To cut the groove and profile on the insides of the rails and stiles, run stock face down on table. Stack the bit (starting from the shank end) as follows: profile cutter, straight cutter, then bearing.
  • To cope the ends of the rails, run stock face up on table. Stack the bit (starting from the shank end) as follows: straight cutter, bearing, then profile cutter.
  • IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Do not invert any of the cutters! Be sure the carbide is facing the right direction for the rotation of the router.

If a Rockler Router bit fails to perform for any reason we will replace it. No proof of purchase required. Exchange the product at your local Rockler retail store or mail it to Rockler at 4365 Willow Dr. Medina MN 55340. Name and address must be included in the package to process the exchange.
