Rockler Cheese Plane Turning Kit

Cheese aficionados appreciate a fine-quality plane equally as much as woodworkers do. The shavings created by this one, though, will be a delight to the palate as much as to the eye. Just turn your own custom handle to create a one-of-a-kind piece of cutlery. The plane is made from 304 stainless steel and is attached to your handle with an included 1/4-20 threaded insert. It arrives in a decorative box that can be used for a gift box or for storage. The hardware is dishwasher safe, and the handle can be easily removed for machine washing.

NOTE: For easiest turning and assembly, use our Turning Mandrel (#51530, sold separately). The 3/4'' shoulder will ensure perfect alignment of the handle to the hardware.
