Exactly what I needed
Very well made bit, and the only one that I could find that had the correct profile. I used it to make extra wide beadboard.

Purchased this item to make shutter doors for our bathroom. Product cam ready to use. Was easy to set up in the router table. Looking forward to getting the doors together. This adds a touch of class to the doors.

Great for Picture Frames
I bought this bit so I could route out a bead on the inside edge of watercolor picture frames. The bit produced the exact profile I was after.
The finished frame.
The bead was the first step in the process on my router table.

Any reason I have to put the bead on the stiles before drilling the louver and dowel pin holes?
Jeff in AZ on Sep 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I put the bead on first but I don't think it really matters which order you do this in. In drilling the pin holes on the stiles (assuming you are using the Rockler Jig), drill slowly with multiple deeper passes cleaning out the drill bit as you go to avoid getting rough stringy slop or tear out. Also, make sure that the jig is tight against the stile. I had to make a second pass free hand with a normal 1/4" drill bit to get these holes clean. Basswood (assuming you are using basswood) has this stringy quality that is sometimes a bit of a pain to deal with like when drilling holes. Good luck!
new to router bits. How big is the bead of the finished product? is it the 7/8" measurment?
Jessica O on Jun 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The dimensions provided by Rockler under Technical Details show the bead dimension as 5/32" radius, resulting in a 5/16" diameter bead, which is quite accurate, judging by the direct measurement of the bead I just cut on stool legs with this bit.
