Holds things down with power
I made a sled for the router table. It is used for making cuts on cabinet door stiles and rails. This clamp is perfect for holding the board in place while making the pass through the router bit.

Perfect for my custom jig
I needed to cut some small pieces of trim (4 of them) a very small amount and exactly the same. I needed to make a jig to carry the pieces across the table saw with the unguarded
blade at a 45* angle. No way could I put my hand that close to the blade and hold the trim perfectly square without it. I used the toggle clamp to hold the trim on my miniature sled and it kept them perfectly still.

Its the first time I'd use a clamp on a jig and I don't think I'll ever go back to the old way of doing it. They worked great.

I make many jigs and fixtures in my shop for routing and especially on the CNC machine. The toggle clamps are fantastic. easy to install and adjust right clamping pressure to assure accurate hold downs and fast fexible wood changes. I have an assortment for ready use as the jigs dictate.

I had purchased a pen press kit from another supplier and after a couple of months, the press mechanism bent and became useless. I replaced the press mechanism with a "Large Action Push Clamp" #32103 and doubt I will ever have to replace it again. This push clamp is built to last!! Great product!

I saw the clamp in a video on making cabinets doors, the clamp is used as part of a jig for holding the cabinet door rail steady while routing the edge, the clamp works great, the construction of the clamp is solid. I recommend this style clamp.

will this clamp take a 1/4-20 standard threaded swivel foot?
Jolly John on Jan 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Nope. I tried to push a 1/4-20 bolt through the clamp, and it wouldn't pass through.
Can you show a picture of the clamp in completely open position? Or tell me how far is the maximum travel from closed to complete open? Thank you.
Tracy J on Apr 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: When opening the clamp, the clamping arm pivots up and back.

At the fully retracted position, the clamping arm is out of the way and has swung up and over, past vertical, slightly toward the rear of the clamp. This leaves the are in front of the clamp completely clear.

The toggle handle also swings up and over the clamp, and lies nearly flat at the back of the clamp.
