Snap-Closing Semi-Concealed Hinges - For 3/8" Inset Doors (#4)
These hinges rest in a simple-to-cut groove and stay almost completely hidden from view, helping preserve the natural look of a wide variety of cabinetry, boxes, furniture and more. The spring-action, snap-closing mechanism utilizes exclusive double nylon washers for smooth open-and-closing action. This unique design ensures tightly closed doors, while included cork stoppers guarantee quiet and gentle operation. These solid steel hinges mount easily to either frameless or face-frame cabinets and are available in beautiful finishes for 3/8" inset doors.
Note: Installation requires cutting an arced slot 1/4" wide in the cabinet door for the hinge to rest in. For inset door hinges, the slot should be made 3/4" D x 1-3/4" L, with a cutter no more than 6" in diameter.
