I purchased the 1/4, 3/8 and...
I purchased the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 HSS to use at work. After using them a few times, I had to order some for myself. These bits work flawlessly. I've used them in oak, padauk and myrtlewood. Worth every penny and then some.

I purchased the 1/2" HSS model and have been completely satisfied. I used the bit to make long mortises in a furniture product. The bit cuts very smooth mortises without even a hint of tear-out.

The upcut design makes for a much smoother cutting action and greatly reduces chatter while cutting out parts on my CNC router. Up cut design also pulls the waste up and out of the cutting path, reducing stress on the bit and to CNC X, Y, axis.

I build a lot of custom hand made boxes, the HSS bits dull faster. I am starting to go carbide with most of everything I have

I am looking for a 11/4"diameter mortising bit with a 1/4' Shank ?
A shopper on May 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is not practical to have such a larger diameter bit with such a small shank. I am not aware of such a bit existing. Please consider a 1/2 inch shank and a 3/4 inch bit and make several cuts.
I have a small routing project and don't want to go through the expense of purchasing a router or hand rotary tool. Are there any router bits I can use on my hand held power drill - looking to make some 1/4" deep grooves ?
James B on Aug 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That sounds both dangerous and ineffective.
How deep will these cut? Looking for the best bit for circle cutting with my trim router. Will probably be cutting 1" materials mostly.
Chris N on Nov 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used the bit for cutting box joints in "3/4 pine. So all I know is it can cut 3/4 inch plus a hair deep
is there anyone selling 5/16 spiral upcut bits with 1/4 shank?
